3 young men from Southern California had visited Africa for a film making adventure. However, they stumbled upon something that caught their attention. The LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) is a rebel group that uses children as their soldiers. These children are forced to use fire weapons to fight against their own country men. The 3 Americans therefore started Invisible Children to alarm the world about what is going on in this country of corruption. They have managed to set up a website that gives their side of the story. They also created ways for people all around the world to help eliminate the notion of child soldiers in Uganda. They sell videos and merchandise related to the issue, and need people to join and help spread the word. I am doing exactly that. I stand behind these men support Invisible Children.
